Russia’s civilian healthcare system is in serious trouble due to the fallout from the invasion of Ukraine, and Russians are experiencing this first-hand. This is mentioned in the latest British intelligence report.

The impact of the war on the state of Russian healthcare has probably already become noticeable for the population of the aggressor country, analysts say.

They note that Russian media are reporting growing queues in hospitals and a shortage of medicines, including widely used antibiotics.

British intelligence believes that Russian authorities are forced to reduce support for civilian healthcare throughout the country due to large unplanned costs for military medicine.
