A girl died because of a faulty pipe in a hotel pool

Tragedy at a hotel pool in Houston. There was found an 8-year-old girl drowned in the swimming pool pipe.

It is reported that the girl was most likely sucked inside the pipe.

It happened when the girl was playing with her younger sister in a hotel pool in Houston, Texas.

Aaliyah Lynette Jayco disappeared around 6 p.m. Saturday night.

Police, firefighters and EquuSearch, an organization that specializes in finding missing people, were called in to search for her.

CCTV footage showed the girl was first in the water and then disappeared.

Police began emptying the pool to survey the pipes using cameras attached to long poles.

It took more than 13 hours to retrieve the body with the help of the fire brigade.
