It became known that the scanning of the underground complex under the sculpture of the Great Sphinx confirmed the discovery of an ancient underground city under the pyramids in Giza.
The discovery was reported by Italian Egyptologist and member of the research team Armando May for the Daily Mail.
This proves that the Giza plateau was created long before the dynastic era, possibly around 36,400 BC.
New research, however, has allowed for a closer look. Under the sculpture turned out to be a huge shaft surrounded by a spiral staircase.
It went from the center of the base of the Sphinx and went down to two square structures (one at a depth of more than 600 meters, the other more than 1200 meters).
Earlier it was reported that American scientists managed to find out why Mars turned into a desert.
So with the help of rovers like Perseverance and Curiosity, they managed to discover unique features of the red planet.
