Unknown drones over Denmark

Denmark reported that unknown drones appeared in its airspace for several hours.

According to TV 2, drones were spotted flying over the country for several hours. They subsequently disappeared from the air.

The drones were spotted near airports in Aalborg, Esbjerg, and Sønderborg, as well as at the Skridstrup military airbase, where F-16 and F-35 fighter jets are stationed.

Law enforcement agencies noted that disruptions at Aalborg Airport affected the Air Force.

The nearby air base uses the runway and air traffic control services of the airport.

It is also reported that the country’s police have launched a large-scale investigation into the incident.
