Ukrainian soldier Natalia Grabarchuk destroyed a cruise missile with the help of MANPADS “Igla” during a massive Russian attack on Ukraine on November 17.
This is reported in the Air Force of Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian officers, Natalia underwent a five-month training course at a training center.
There, she mastered various types of portable surface-to-air missile systems. On Nov. 17 was her first combat launch, and she immediately managed to shoot down a Russian missile.
When the enemy missile was in front of her, she set aside all emotions and excitement.
She had done hundreds of training launches on simulators before. And here: the first combat one and into the target.
“Very happy that I succeeded. Already after the combat work, a little gave vent to emotions. We make every effort to achieve the result, give all our strength,”: said Natalia.
Before the war in civilian life, Natalia worked as a teacher at a preschool educational institution.
It has also become known that Russian occupiers hit the Kremenchuk hydroelectric power plant during a massive strike on Ukraine.
The video is published in social networks by Russian channels and OSINT-analysts.
There has been no official confirmation from the Ukrainian side yet.
