Trump’s plane flew too close to a passenger flight
It has been reported that US President Donald Trump’s plane flew too close to a passenger airliner over the congested skies of New York.
The incident occurred while Trump was flying to the UK, according to Bloomberg.
It is noted that the dangerous proximity was noticed by the air traffic controller, who drew attention to the similar altitudes and flight paths.
He addressed the crew of the civilian aircraft: “I’m sure you understand who this is… Be careful, Spirit 1300, turn right 20 degrees,” the publication quotes him as saying.
After the pilots did not respond to the instruction, the air traffic controller raised his voice and repeated the command. “Spirit 1300, turn right 20 degrees. Immediately,” he said.
