The strikes are being carried out west of the bridgehead in the Kursk region. This will severely hamper the logistics of Russian troops.

It could be a threat to block Russian troops all the way from the Seim River to the Ukrainian border.

It is marked in light brown on the published map. With the subsequent transfer of this territory under the control of Ukrainian troops.

There are other bridges across the Russian Seim River. But it is reported that they are also being hit.

If the bridges are destroyed, about 650 km² of Russian territory could be encircled.

Russian military analysts are in a panic, reporting that 700 Russian troops are surrounded.

The situation in this area south of the Seim River is very difficult for the Russian army because of logistical problems.

It is probably in this direction that the Ukrainian military will now focus its offensive.
