The AFU repelled another assault by the Russian Army

On the Donetsk front, Ukrainian troops repelled another massive assault by the Russian army.

They managed to stop about a hundred Russians who were attacking with the support of armored vehicles and motorcycles.

This was reported on September 24 on the Facebook page of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa.

“Our soldiers repelled another enemy assault attempt. About a hundred occupiers, supported by armored vehicles and motorcycles, were unable to break through the defenses,” the military said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that two Ukrainian infantrymen stumbled upon a dugout with Russian assault troops in the forest. They threw grenades at them and persuaded them to surrender.

Ukrainian combat drone operators also managed to detect and destroy an expensive and rare Russian KS-2 electronic warfare system.
