Superyacht catches fire at Saint-Tropez port

It became known that in the waters of the prestigious French resort on the luxury 41-meter yacht Sea Lady II broke out a large-scale fire.

According to local rescuers, the operation to eliminate the fire required the emergency involvement of thirty firefighters and four units of special equipment.

According to preliminary estimates of rescuers, the ship after the fire and the damage caused may sink. This is reported by the BBC.

As the agency writes, this is a luxury watercraft, capable of accommodating up to ten guests in five spacious cabins with individual bathrooms.

The yacht is served by a crew of eight people. And its weekly rental is estimated at 80 thousand euros.

Currently, experts are investigating the causes of the sudden fire, which occurred in one of the most fashionable corners of the Cote d’Azur.

Earlier it was reported that the ferry with 65 passengers on board sank near Bali in Indonesia. It is known about the dead and many missing.
