Scientists prove uniqueness of remains of mysterious mummies from Peru

Scientists investigating the mummies ‘alien’ from Peru found inside one of them, known as Montserrat, the remains of a fetus. About it, writes the Daily Mail.

The mysterious mummies were found in 2017 in the Nazca Desert by local resident Leandro Rivera and sparked years of controversy over their origin.

Some researchers believe they are fiction, and the remains are dolls assembled from animal bones and modern glue.

Other researchers, however, suggest that the mummies found may be aliens from outer space.

However, a team led by Dr. David Ruiz Vella and journalist Jois Mantilla claims to have made a startling discovery at a radiology center in Lima.

Scans showed a fetus lying on its back in the mummy’s belly. The fetus was estimated to be less than 30 weeks old, and the mummy itself died about 1,200 years ago between the ages of 16 and 25.

During the scan, the scientists noticed the characteristic three finger limbs and metal implants in the arms, chest and head of the mummification that are typical of these mummies.

Despite the skepticism of some archaeologists, the researchers are confident that what they have found indicates that further DNA testing is needed.

They speculate that the mummies with three fingers may have anthropomorphic features, but final conclusions are still to come.

The find has become another round of discussions about the nature of these mummies.

Part of scientists call them falsification, and part is unique evidence that requires careful study.
