Scientists have figured out how the universe will end

Scientists from Cornell University, New York, have concluded that the universe will end as a result of the Big Crunch.

This is when all celestial bodies will be absorbed by the super-small singularity from which they originated after the Big Bang. This was reported by the New York Post.

According to the researchers, the universe will eventually stop expanding, and all matter will gather again at a single point.

Experts have specified that this global process will begin in 11 billion years and will continue for another 8.5 billion years.

Experts report that it is unlikely that humanity will notice any significant changes during this process.

Nevertheless, one of the warning signs will be an increase in cosmic temperature.

It is quite possible that in a few billion years, the universe, including all its major celestial bodies, will have the same temperature as the surface of the Sun.
