President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Ukraine

The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen came to Kyiv.

Her visit is dedicated to the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the aggressor country Russia.

“In Kyiv to mark the anniversary of the 2nd year of Russia’s war on Ukraine. And to celebrate the extraordinary resistance of the Ukrainian people. More than ever, we stand firmly by Ukraine. Financially, economically, militarily, morally. Until the country is finally free,” she wrote on the “X” social network.

Prime Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni, Canada Justin Trudeau, Belgium Alexander de Croo also arrived in the Ukrainian capital at night by train from Poland.

In addition, British politician Boris Johnson is also in Kyiv today.

Later in the day, a videoconference is planned from Kyiv, in which leaders of the G7 countries will take part, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be invited to join the discussion.

Two years since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, and two years of immense suffering for the Ukrainian people.

The war rages on, and serious violations of human rights and international humanitarian law continue to be committed.
