The self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced that he is going to the next presidential elections, which will be held in 2025.
According to him, “nowhere in the world are there such open, fair elections as in Belarus.”
These elections will be the seventh for the Belarusian dictator. Lukashenko has been in power for 30 years.
“The more difficult the situation is, the more actively they disturb our society and you, among other things, the sooner I will go to these elections,” he said.
The next presidential elections in Belarus are due to take place in 2025.
Previously, Lukashenko banned any trials against him or his family if he leaves office. The Belarusian President signed a new law “On the President”.
