Kadyrov’s special forces regiment attacked in Grozny

An unidentified drone attacked Chechnya, hitting the building of the special police regiment in the center of Grozny.

The strike hit the barracks of the Ramzan Kadyrov special police regiment. This regiment specifically guards the head of Chechnya.

Russian media are reporting on the attack, publishing video from surveillance cameras and photos of the aftermath.

The Grozny airport has introduced the “Cover” plan, used during drone attacks, which resulted in the delay of one flight to Moscow.

It is reported that after the explosion, many ambulances were seen at the site of the impact.

It is possible that Zamid Chalayev, commander of the Chechen regiment, was injured.

The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed that the center of Grozny was attacked, blaming the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the attack.

“Anywhere gets hit with a drone. Today a drone hit the city center. They destroyed a gas station and the roof of a police station,” Kadyrov said.
