American inventor Elon Musk has announced that Grok, a chatbot created by his company xAI, will soon be available in Tesla cars.
The announcement comes after a busy week that saw the AI model post a series of provocative messages on the X platform.
“Grok will be available in Tesla cars very soon. Next week at the latest,” the billionaire wrote in his X post.
The statement comes just hours after xAI unveiled a new version of the Grok 4 model.
According to Musk, the update will allow the chatbot to solve “complex real-world engineering problems” that it has never encountered before.
The announcement of Grok’s arrival at Tesla followed not the quietest of days for this AI model.
On Tuesday, xAI removed numerous “inappropriate” postings of its chatbot Grok after user complaints.
Tesla shares are known to have fallen after Musk himself announced the formation of a new political party and escalated his spat with the US president.
It is also reported that the electric car maker has seen a drop in sales this year.
This happened after a blow to its reputation due to Elon Musk’s involvement in Donald Trump’s administration.
