Flooding in Texas: dozens of dead
It became known that in Central Texas, because of heavy rains, there was a severe flood. There are dead and missing.
At least 24 people died as a result of flooding in the American state of Texas, caused by heavy rains and the overflow of the Guadalupe River.
The region received more rainfall in a matter of hours than in the entire summer as a whole, ABC News reported.
According to reports, children are among the dead. At least 20 people from the girls’ summer camp are reported missing.
Search and rescue efforts are underway. The evacuation of citizens from the flood zone involved the U.S. Coast Guard.
