China to show weapons capable of hitting the U.S.

China will show weapons capable of striking the U.S. at its September 3 parade, Bloomberg reported, analyzing satellite images of the parade float.

A demonstration of the latest anti-ship missiles, combat drones, and ballistic missiles is being prepared.

These missiles are capable of carrying nuclear weapons to demonstrate their military might and possibly attract potential buyers.

“Beijing is one of the most active developers of hypersonic missiles that are faster and more maneuverable than traditional defenses,” Bloomberg writes.

The technology is at the center of an intensifying competition between the United States on the one hand and China and Russia on the other.

The parade will take place days after the SCO summit in China, where Xi will meet Putin, Indian Prime Minister Modi, and other world leaders.
