It has become known that Belarus has sent special forces, the air force and air defense forces to the border with Ukraine.
This was stated by Alexander Lukashenko. According to him, the missile systems “Polonez” and “Iskander” were redeployed to positions in connection with the activation of the AFU on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
“Under no circumstances should we allow any escalation or aggravation”.
“I want the Ukrainian leadership to hear this. I would ask Ukrainians not to dabble or mess around with fire. It is very dangerous,” Lukashenko said.
Special Operations Forces, Air Force and Air Defense Forces are also deployed there, while border guards have been transferred to a reinforced mode of border protection.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus said that Ukraine was allegedly pulling equipment and troops to the border in order to draw Belarus into a war.
Ukrainian border guards explained that all activities on the border with Belarus were aimed at the defense of the state, not an attempt to seize other people’s territories.
The military also said that the state border with Belarus was fully under control. The Ukrainian army has enough forces and equipment to prevent provocations.
