An American Airlines plane has reportedly caught fire at Denver airport in the US.
The Boeing 737-800, on a flight from Colorado Springs to Dallas, was forced to make an emergency landing in Denver after the crew reported engine vibration.
It is known that after landing, while taxiing to the terminal, one of the engines caught fire, causing thick smoke on the runway.
At that time, 172 passengers and 6 crew members were on board the aircraft.
They were all promptly evacuated, with several people suffering minor injuries.
The FAA reports that the plane was in the air for about an hour after the diversion.
At this time, the causes of the engine fire on the Boeing 737-800 are being investigated.
