A 61-year-old American tourist was fined by Odessa border guards.

A tourist from the USA traveled along the Danube in his kayak and accidentally crossed the Ukrainian border.

This was reported in the State Border Service of Ukraine.

A man originally from California sailed along the river for 57 days, periodically mooring to the shores of various European countries, and next to Reni swam to Ukraine.

Here he was caught by the border guards, they issued a protocol on administrative violations, and now they are preparing to hand him over to Romania as a readmission.
